Written by Neel Kamal, "Sursangeetka Kehi Sadhak" released

Kathmandu. A book written by Neel Kamal titled Sursangeet Ka Kehi Sadhak was released recently at a function held in the capital. Singer and former chancellor of Academy of Nepal Music & Drama Narayan Bhakta Shrestha (Rayan) was the chief guest at the event organized by Music Khabar.

The book was released to Sursangeetka Kehi Sadhak by Sumba Bairagi, President of Music Khabar, Chancellor Narayan Bhakta Shrestha Rayan, Professor Jagat Prasad Upadhyay Prekshit, Professor Ramesh Khanal, Head of the Central Department of Fine Arts Dhrubesh Chandra Regmi and poet and lyricist Chintamani Sivakoti, a member of the Board of Directors of Nepal Rastra Bank.

Welcoming the program, Suman Bairagi, president of Music Khabar, said that 'Sursangeetka Kehi Sadhak' written by Neel Kamal is a reflection on the life of the composers, some of which have been written and some of which are yet to be written.

While reviewing the book, singer and composer Tika Bhandari said that Neelkamal's effort was good. Bhandari said that more effort and research is needed for writing, and he said that there are many things that need to be improved in terms of biography writing. Bhandari said that the biography of the creator has various parts from birth to death and said that the biographies of the creators in Neelkamal's writings will be meaningful.

Similarly, while reviewing the book, scholar and singer Dhirendra Premarshi praised Neelakamal's writing journey. He said many things came in the book and many things remained. Stating that it is important to include geography, language and history, there may have been other artists before and after the 24 artists, but it is not appropriate to include their contributions only in terms of singing.

Similarly, the chief guest outgoing Chancellor Narayan Bhakta Shrestha Rayan said that since the biographies of the creators have been written, it is necessary to search for their real lives. He expressed his best wishes to Neel Kamal, saying that new changes will be made in the next edition by covering the missing things in the biography. Also, Chancellor Rayan accused Radio Nepal of committing a lot of corruption on the creator's property. From the past to the present, some leaders working in Radio Nepal have misused the creator's property.

In the program, Neel Kamal, the author of 'SurSangeetka Kehi Sadhak", said that he was attracted to the field of song, music and literature by the many incidents he experienced from the moment he was listening to song after song on the radio in Lahure when he arrived in the city.

President of All Nepal Folk Culture Federation of Nepal Matrika Pokharel, poet and writer Ishwor Chandra Gyawali, President of Musicians Association of Nepal Chetan Sapkota, President of Literary Journalists Association Radheshyam Lekali, Senior Musician Bulu Mukarung, scholar Namuna Sharma and others were present in the program.
