Veteran Filmmaker Neer Shah Begins New Film ‘Prince’ with Song Recording

Kathmandu: Veteran Nepali filmmaker Neer Shah has officially commenced work on his upcoming feature film 'Prince', with the recording of its first song marking the beginning of the production process.

Presented by Red Chilli Fin Tech Pvt. Ltd., the film's first song features lyrics penned by director Neer Shah himself. The music has been composed by renowned musician Shambhujit Baskota, while acclaimed singer Shiva Pariyar has lent his voice to the track.

The story of Prince has been jointly developed by Neer Shah and Shivam Adhikari. The screenplay and dialogues have been written by Shivam Adhikari, while Saurabh Lama will handle the cinematography. Pushkar Lama (Prem Bhomjan) has joined the project as the line producer.

According to the production team, the film is currently in the final stage of pre-production, with preparations for principal photography progressing rapidly. The names of the lead cast and the remaining technical crew will be announced in the coming days.

Director Neer Shah says Prince will present a unique storyline with a fresh cinematic approach. The makers believe the film will offer a compelling narrative that resonates with contemporary Nepali society and the younger generation.
