Kathmandu. Tom Holland, who plays Spiderman, will take a year off from starring in the movies. He recently told 'Extra' in an interview that he will take a vacation from acting after finishing the murder thriller series 'The Crowded Room' on Apple Plus.

In the show, Danny Sullivan, who was detained for his part in the shooting at Rockefeller Centre in the summer of 1979, is portrayed by actor Holland based on Billy Milligan's amnesic crime, which happened in real life.

Wer were seeking for a particular feeling, which I had never had before. "It was definitely a difficult time," Holland admitted to Extra on the program. As a film producer, I was also always under pressure from new issues that arose on the filming set.

He claimed that although having two obligations as a producer and an actor in the same movie damaged his mental health, he still wished to learn how to be a producer. "I believe that hard work is good work, thus I work really hard", stated Holland. "However, the show made it difficult for me. I had to take a break at one point, so I vanished, spent a week in Mexico visiting the beaches. I'm taking a year off now because the show was so challenging. I can't wait to figure out how to accomplish it. I believe that our efforts were not in vain."

According to Holland, who spoke to Entertainment Weekly, he has been sober for a year and four months. Additionally, he gave appreciation to the Apple TV Plus series for raising awareness of this mental health condition.
