The 12th Music Khabar Music Awards 2081 concluded in grand success. Kharel received the Lifetime Achievement Award along with a cash prize of Rs. 51,000.

Kathmandu. The 12th Music Khabar Music Awards 2081 has concluded in a grand success. The program was organized at the Best Western Plus Hotel in Tilganga, the capital, Jesth 23, 2082 Friday, under the chairmanship of Music Khabar Award Advisor Radheshyam Lekali. The Lifetime Achievement Award (Dirgha Sadhana Award) was presented to distinguished lyricist and director Yadav Kharel at the program, hosted by the honorable Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Badri Prasad Pandey. Honorable Minister Pandey, distinguished lyricist Rajendra Thapa, Film Development Board Chairman Dinesh DC, advisor Mohan Niraula, program coordinator Sabita Pokharel, and others honored distinguished lyricist Kharel by presenting him with a cash award of Rs 51,000 and a certificate of appreciation.

After honoring the distinguished lyricist Yadav Kharel and others, the chief guest of the program, Honorable Badri Prasad Pandey, extended his heartfelt congratulations and thanked the Music Khabar team for bringing together artists from the elite to the underprivileged in one place to create an atmosphere of respect.

He said that the awards and honors that Music Khabar has been doing for 12 years under the slogan "Culture for Tourism" were commendable and that it was a special task for individuals to do what the government could not do.

Welcoming the chief guest, special guests, and creative artists present at the program, Award Chairperson Suman Pandit said that the entire art sector should
work to make the award honorable and dignified. He said that the awards and
honors will provide further energy as Music Khabar continues its continuous journey to promote and advance the arts sector. He expressed his heartfelt
gratitude to all the sponsors, advisors, and guests, stating that all creative artists have contributed to creating a prosperous arts sector.

Singer Govinda Madhur Acharya and singer Babina Bhattarai were declared
the best singers in the Modern song category. Acharya won the best singer award for the song Ek Din Ujyalo Chhaula, while Bhattarai won the best singer award for the song Gunaso. 

Similarly, in the modern genre, Narahari Premi won the best music composer award for the song "Ghar Chhodeko Manche," while Mahesh Acharya won the best lyricist award for the song "Timi Sangai Chhanau."Singer Anju Panta and singer Naresh Regmi won the Best Duet Singing Award for the song Dharti and Junko Katha. Sushil Bikram Shah won the Best Sound Mixing Award for the song Euta Joon. Bipin Acharya won the Best Music Coordinator award for the song Aadat. Rupesh Thapa won the Best Music Video Cinematographer award for the song Timibina Chaladain, while Robin BK won the Best Music Video Editing award for Lampate Surati. Actors Binod Shrestha and Usha Subedi won the Best Music Video Model award for the song "Bidai," while Shaan Thapa won the Best Music Video Director award for the song "Chhunai Hunna Jasto."

Eleena Chauhan won the Popular Singer of the Year award for the song "Timibina Chaladain." Lyricist Bhupendra Budhathoki won the Jury Award for Lyricist for the song "Bhagya Lekhne Bhagwan." Keshav Poudel won the Jury Award for Music Composer for the song "Pagal," while Dipendra Ale won the Best Singer Diaspora Award for the song "Dhalkebaraima". Suraj Pandit won the Jury Award for Singer for the song Jati Tale Peni, while Shambhu Puri won the Best Costume Designer award.

In the pop category, singer Prezool Nepali won the Best Pop Singer award for the song "Kasto Maya." Singer Sarika Ghimire won the Best Pop Singer award for the song " Kaliyugki Radha". Lyricist Ramesh Koirala won the Best Pop Lyricist award, while Jugal Dangol won the Best Pop Musician award. Sudip Bhandari (Jibob) won the Best Rapper award.

In the Lok Dohori category, singer Saroj Lamichhane won the Best Lok Dohori Singer award for the song Kholi Tareko. Similarly, singer Sunita Budha Chhetri won the Best Singer award for the song Ujeli. Krishna KC won the Best Music Folk Song for the song Thuli, Santosh Sapkota won the Best Lyricist Folk Song for the song Basyeu Alagaai, Saman Shah won the Best Female Lyricist for the song Anushoko Barsat, Tejendra Dura won the Best Music Arranger Folk Song
for the song Timro Jawani, and Khadga Bajurali won the award for Best Sound Mixing in Lok Dohori for the song Thuli.

Similarly, Mausam Himali won the Lok Dohori award for Best Music Video Director for the song Kashmire Pachhauri. Badal Ghimire won the award for Best Music Video Model Male for the song Kasam Todne Bha, and Asmita Puri won the award for Best Music Video Model Female for the song Phool Maya. Reshma Tamang won the Best Cultural Song award for her song Judhyo Najar. Singer Shukra Tamang and singer Rejina Pariyar's song Thatyuli Thado Bhaka won the Best Cultural Song award. Singer Rayan Basyal won the Best New Singer award for the song Ghamko Jhulko, while Umesh Bhatta won the Best New Music Video Director award for the song Katai Ma Haraya ki. Singer Ramchandra Chand's song Papini was declared the best folk song. Sabin Acharya and Nisha Gurung were declared the best live singers. Singer Sangam Lamichhane won the Public Choice Award in the Folk Song category for the song "Ae Gauri," and Sushil Gyawali won the Public Choice Award in the Folk Song category for the song "Lajaudai Lajaudai."

Similarly, in the film category, lyricist Pramod Dhungana succeeded in becoming the best film lyricist for the song 'Hareko Chhaina' from the film Uphaar. Music composer Arjun Pokharel won the Best Music Composer award for the song 'Kasam Battiko' from the movie 'Jwaisap.' Singer Sumit Khadka and singer Namrata Kafle Kharel won the Best Film Singer award for the song jhamke Jhamajham from the movie Dimag Kharab. Singer Sabin Subedi was awarded the Encouragement Award for Singer for the song Bihe Bhako Chhaina from the movie Chhakkapanja 5.

The organizing organization stated that to determine the best of the top five,
the songs were evaluated by counting 50 percent from the judges, 40 percent from the public (votes), and 10 percent from the organizers. The judges included popular model and actor Sagar Lamsal Bale, music video director and
choreographer Smriti Timilsina 'Guruama,' senior journalist Tulsi Giri 'Bhabuk,' model Sabina Karki, popular singer Devi Gharti, and popular singer Raju Dhakal.

Similarly, Tilak Singh Pella was honored with the 'Music Khabar Silver Award'
at the event. Singers Khuman Adhikari and Junu Rijal were presented with the
'Music Khabar Decade Music Award,' while singer Mina Lama was presented with the 'Music Youth Talent Music Award.' Similarly, singer Pooja Devkota was
awarded the 'Music Khabar Child Talent Award,' and New Zealand-based Lyricist Ramil Adhikari was awarded the Music Khabar Diaspora Sangeet Samman. Similarly, the Music Khabar Photo Journalism Award was presented to photojournalist Pradeep Raj Onta, who has achieved great heights in photojournalism.

Lyricist Shekhar Dhungel and director Diwakar Bhattarai were awarded the Music Khabar Creator Award, choreographer director Gambhir Bista was awarded the Music Khabar Art Award, Safla Maiya Rajbhandari was awarded the Music Khabar Social Service Award, and Ashwini Kant Jha was presented with the Music Khabar Beauty Pageant Choreographer Award. Similarly, journalists MP Subba and Dipanjali Shah were presented with the Music Khabar Music Arts Journalism Award.

The program was hosted by singer Manju Poudel and journalist Nirajan Bhandari. The group of Shankar BC and Asmita Puri and the group of Shiva Bik
and Ritu Tamang performed dances, while Junu Rijal and Tika Bamjan performed songs. The 12th Music Khabar Music Awards program, organized by Shubhava Media Solutions, was broadcast live by Prism Television.

The program was attended by federal MP Rekha Kumari Yadav, Bagmati Province MP Dipendra Shrestha, Prism Television Chairman Nirjal Shrestha, Lyricist Association Nepal Chairman Basanta Bityasi Thapa, President of the Film Directors Society Janakdeep Parajuli, President of the Film Artists Association and Award Advisor Mohan Niraula, and Senior Actress Director Deepashree Niraula. The award advisors, Durga Rayamajhi, RC Koirala, Chandra Sharma, Santosh Shrestha, Ram Bhattarai, senior singer Lakpa Sherpa, Sudil Ghimire, Manager of Agriculture Development Bank, Biman Karki, Managing Director of Elmira International Travels and Tours, Mohan Karki, President of the Digital Board Professionals Association, and Tenjing Sherpa, Managing Director of IIFT, were present, Rajendra Adhikari Principal of Navodit Vidhya Kunja, GB Adhikari Vice Principal of Navodit college.
