Kathmandu: A patriotic song titled “Sansarkai Number One”, featuring lyrics by renowned poet and lyricist SP Koirala, has been released. The song has been composed by acclaimed musician Shakti Ballav, while renowned singer Sumit Khadka, known for his patriotic songs, has provided the vocals.
The song has been arranged by Niraj Shrestha, with recording and mixing handled by Bhola Poudel.
The music video was filmed by Bhubaneshwar Rajbanshi and Bishal Prajapati, while Shankar Kharel directed the video. Bishwaram Khadka handled the editing. Lyricist SP Koirala and singer Sumit Khadka themselves are featured in the video. The video also features performances by Madan Krishna Shrestha, Hari Bansha Acharya, Devika Bandana, and other artists.
Based on the theme of “Sansarkai Number One,” the song expresses a strong sense of national pride, portraying Nepal as a uniquely beautiful country. It conveys the message that while the world may be vast, one’s own homeland holds a special place in the heart.
The song highlights Nepal’s natural diversity, from the Himalayas and hills to the Terai plains, describing the country as a land of extraordinary beauty.
