Singer Prakash Dutraj attempted suicide in Australia

Kathmandu. Singer Prakash Dutraj has attempted suicide. Sources said that he had reached Brisbane, Australia for a musical event and tried to hang himself in the hotel where he was staying.

It is reported that the incident took place at midnight on Sunday local time. Duttaraj is in Australia for a concert along with singer Bhumika Giri. The organizer has kept them in the same flat.

Dutraj tried to hang himself by using a shawl trap. At the same time, it is said that the door where he was sitting was also opened. Sources informed that the singer Giri entered Dutraj's room after hearing a noise from the room.

Dutraj is now in normal condition. The reason why Dutraj, an introvert, attempted suicide has not been revealed. Duttaraj and Bhumika Giri are preparing to return to Nepal after a musical event to be held in Sydney.

Songs like Jam Bho Maili, Ghar Katha Ho Bainiko, Choli Mailai Bho, Man Bhulchh etc. of Dootraj are famous. His song 'Deuralima' which was released a few days ago is also very popular.
