Kathmandu. The trio of senior directors - Sahendra Shrestha, Prakash Bhatt and Sangeeta Shrestha - who have contributed to the field of Nepali art for a long time, have been honored. On the occasion of 'Vijaya Dashami 2079 greetings and honor program' organized by the Nepal Music Video Directors Association on Tuesday, director Traya was honored with a special honor.

He was honored for making a special contribution in the field of Nepali music videos through directing.

Similarly, certificates of membership were distributed to patrons and advisors of the organizing organization and ordinary members.

Patron of society Baburaja KC 'Ujjwal' and advisors senior singer, musician, lyricist, film writer and director Narayan Rayamazhi, digital promoter of Nepali music and movies Om Prakash Agarwal, famous director and choreographer Shiv B.K. Senior artist Harihar Sharma, Vice-Chancellor of Nepal Sangeet and Natya Pragya Academy, the chief guest at the event, expressed his happiness at the emergence of another new institution in the field of Nepali art. Showing the importance of music video, Sharma said, "Be it a small or big movie or a music video, all of them are equally important. If we separate the song from the movie, then that song can be viewed as a music video. So we have to think about it seriously.

Sharma insisted that there is a need to integrate different genres of art. "The purpose of all mediums of presentation art is to tell their own story, whatever genres are there should work collectively. All of these are interdependent. If we follow different paths, it will be impossible to get stability", said Sharma.

Vidhan Karki, president of the society, explained the importance and need of the organization. He said that the organization was established with the aim of establishing the identity and identity of Nepali music video directors and working for their rights. Karki said that the organization is working to institutionalize the recognition of music videos from the state. Program coordinator Babita Shrestha, treasurer of the society, informed about the purpose of the program, while the first vice president, Devendra Pandey, informed about the journey of establishing the organization.
