Senior Dance Director Thapa and Color Journalist Giri honored by the Foundation

Kathmandu. The Nepal Folkloric Foundation has completed its 15th anniversary by paying a lifetime  honor to senior dance director Bhairab ​​Bahadur Thapa. Thapa was honored by the chief guest, former Vice President of Nepal, Paramanand Jha, wearing a dosalla and cash.

Similarly, senior arts journalist Bidur Giri has been presented with a deep color journalism award. The Chief Guest honored Giri with a dosalla and cash.

15 other people active in various fields were also appreciated and honored in the program chaired by Jogendra KC, President of Nepal Folkloric Foundation. Journalist Kuber Giri was honored with the Arts Journalism Award, while Sahanai player Aita Bahadur Pariyar was given the Folk Culture Award.

Senior Dance Director Shambhu Shahi, Dance Director Krishna Rasal, Event Director Nishukant Jha, Senior Singer Shishir Yogi are among those honored. Similarly, artist Purnima Shrestha, artist Dinesh Kumar Lama, singer Shivraj Poudel are also receiving institutional honors. Similarly, senior musician Suresh Adhikari and artist Uttam Sharma were given felicitations and letters of appreciation, while instrumentalist Nhuche Raja Munikar and
journalist Rashmi Thapa were given letters of appreciation.

Similarly, the token of love was exchanged between the Osiji organization and the Nepal Folkloric Foundation, while the token of love was given to Nepali-speaking Burmese singer Dina Chaulagai.

Speaking at the program, the chief guest, former Vice President Paramanand Jha, congratulated the honored artists and journalists and said that the government should organize various programs to energize all the artists involved in the arts and culture for playing an important role in enriching the country through art culture.

On behalf of the foundation, General Secretary Nripadhwaj Khatri welcomed the guests with a welcome speech, while the guests were given a cultural welcome by the dance of Limbu Samdaya and Tamang community.

Similarly, Bhairavakali dance, Lakhe dance, Hudkeli dance, Kauda dance, Chandi dance were performed in the program and songs were performed by singer Shishir Yogi, singer Sunitami Periyar and others.
