Rapper Sean "Diddy Combs" sentenced to 4 years in prison for sexual assault

Los Angeles: Famous rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs has been sentenced to 4 years and 2 months in prison for assaulting and forcing women to perform sexual acts.

The court also fined him $50,000. U.S. District Judge Arun Subramaniam handed down the sentence on October 3. Sean was convicted of some felony crimes.

He was accused of torture, sexual abuse, organizing freak parties, and trafficking. He was acquitted of trafficking charges but convicted of prostitution and violence.

Delivering the verdict, the judge told Combs, "You abused her physically, emotionally, and mentally."

Sean 'DD' Combs cried and pleaded for mercy during the trial. He also apologized to the mother and child. Judge Subramaniam said the sentence was to send an important message to society. He said there should be accountability for exploitation and violence against women.

Combs was charged with two counts of fraud and sex trafficking, as well as two counts of trafficking in women for prostitution, following allegations made by his ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura, and an unnamed victim named Jane.
