Pratishthan's lyricist honor to Manifest Pagani 'Shiva'

Pokhara. Lyricist Foundation, Nepal is going to award Lyricist Samman 2079 to Lyricist Prakat Pageni 'Shiva'. The foundation is going to give the honor to Pangeni on the occasion of its second general meeting.

Sadhanarat Pageni's 'Yo Man Kati Alzheko Cho' and 'Joono Chithi Juna' have been published in Pokhara as the main genres of songs and ghazals. Apart from this, Pranaya Veda's richas (ghazalsangraha) and Aksharbhari Akshata (kavitasangraha) are his published works. Dozens of songs such as Kryyasheel Pragatka Chulesima..., Var Dhale Peepal Ekala... have been popular in literature since the decade.

Secretary Anurag Adhikari informed that there is a program of honoring Pageni by Songwriter Foundation on Saturday 29th of October with its second general meeting in Pokhara. According to him, the foundation has been conducting various activities for the rights of songwriters. He also said that certificates will be awarded to lifetime members on the same occasion. Established in 2077, the institution had previously completed a solo song recital program by lyricist Tirtha Shrestha.
