Music Khabar's 7th anniversary and creator and journalist honor 

Kathmandu. Music Khabar, the only musical weekly magazine in Nepal, established with the slogan "The edge of quality and original music, the foundation of Nepali song music," has completed its seventh year. On this occasion, the 7th anniversary of Music Khabar and the Creator Honor Program has been completed. In the program held at Nepal House in Baluwatar, the capital, the former Vice-Chancellor of the Nepal Music and Drama Institute, renowned musician Sangeet Ratna Shambhujit Baskota, was the chief guest. Music Khabar Pakshik has presented the 'Music Khabar Special Creator Award' to senior musician and singer Shakti Ballabh. 

In the ceremony, singer Prakash Saput was awarded the best male singer of the year. Similarly, singer Shantisree Pariyar received the award of the best female singer of the year, while popular music director Dipak Sharma was awarded the award of Musician of the Year. Senior music video director Prakash Bhatta, popular model Sagar Lamsal Chhetri Bale, and arranger Narendra Biyogi were honored by Music Khabar Arts Honor.

Senior journalist Nirajan Bhandari was honored in the field of communication for the award from music journalist. while Shambhu Shrestha, director of Indreni Sweet Hotel and Indreni Complex, was honored in the field of business for the award from a music businessman.

In the same ceremony, writer Anu Shah was honored with music by Khabar Sahitya Samman. Similarly, young journalists Rashmi Thapa and Gina Karki were honored. Composer Subhash Pradhan was awarded the Music Khabar Music Honor, Singer Hariram Pariyar was awarded the Music Khabar Singing Award, Singer Sanju Neupane and Singer Kalpana Sunuwar were awarded, and Model Anita Giri was awarded the Music Khabar Art Honor.

Similarly, Changba Lama, director of CB Mount Framing, was given the businessman's award, while Sesemi Limbu was given the program presenter's award. Similarly, Nepal House Managing Director Tika Gautam, Choreographer Saroj Bolkhe, Photographer Devraj Acharya, and Laxmiganesh Offset Press, who supported Music Khabar, were honored with letters of appreciation.

Former Vice Chancellor of Nepal Music and Drama Academy Shambhujit Baskota, President of Literary Journalists Association Radheshyam Lekali, President of Tamu Artist Association Senior Singer Sharmila GurungS, President of Everest Nepal Cultural Group RC Koirala, Vice President of Royalty Collection Society Chandra Sharma, scholar and senior singer Durga Rayamajhi were honored during the program. Sabita Pokharel, chairperson of the program, honored them by wearing certificates, garlands, and food.

 Welcoming everyone present at the event, Suman Bairageet, President of Music Khabar, expressed his happiness that Music Khabar has been able to complete a long journey of 7 years with the love and harmony of all the singers, composers, songwriters, and musicians. Bairagi said that although the number of print media has decreased recently, its credibility and importance are increasing.

He said that although flourishing online portals are doing byline and double-line journalism, music news in print media is written in favor of Nepali artists and Nepali art culture. He said that for the sake of development, expansion, promotion, and promotion of Nepali song and music, he has always been writing about the creator and creation, and Music Khabar Pakshik has been able to include all the musicians in one place.

Shakti Ballabh, a distinguished musician representing respected personalities, said that it is a matter of happiness for the entire art sector that music news can continue for the seventh year in the print media. Congratulating this journey of Music Khabar, he said that Music Khabar newspaper has established itself in the print media, and he is happy to be honored by everyone's trusted media.

Music Khabar editor and publisher Sabita Pokharel presided over the event, and the chief guest was Shambhujit Baskota, Vice-Chancellor of Nepal Music and Theater Pragya Academy. Baskota said that publishing music news focusing only on the music sector is a task within the fortnightly challenge.

Music Khabar said that it is a matter of pride for the entire music sector to continue its journey through the print medium and to respect and encourage the creative artists and make them known to everyone through the medium of news. Baskota said that he was very happy to participate in the grand and civilized program organized among distinguished personalities in the music field, and this program was also special for him.

Basant Thapa, President of the Lyricist Association, Milan Moktan, President of the Music Association, Senior Musician Raju Singh, and Sumit Khadka were present in the program. The presence of composer Santosh Shrestha, director Madhavraj Kharel, and Babita Shrestha enhanced the dignity of the program.

Similarly, lyricist Rajendra Puri, singer Prashna Shakya, lyricist Purushottam Sanu, singer Roshan Singh, singer Sita KC, Sarita Bharti, Babina Bhattarai, singer Chiranjeevi Bhandari, journalist Bhola Adhikari, Prakash Bareilly, lyricist Saamna Shah, model Reena Thapa Magar, Kabita Baniyan, etc. There was a large presence of famous artists and journalists.
