Khadananda Adhikari's 'My Mother'

Kathmandu. Lyricist and singer Khadananda Adhikari has remembered the motherland through 'Meri Aama'. By releasing the song 'Meri Aama' in his own words and voice, the singer Adhikari said that he paid his respect to his mother. He made his father Bhakta Adhikari the chief guest and released the audio of the song. He said that even though he could not pay for the load of milk, he fulfilled his devotion to his mother through the song.

Musicians Laxman Shesh and Hari Lamsal, singers Satyaraj Acharya and Swaroopraj Acharya, sound printer Kishore Thapa, journalist and lyricist Suman Bairagi were present at the 'Meri Aama' public event. Bhakta Adhikari, the singer's father, Bhakta Adhikari, said that it is important to always love one's mother and motherland in the program organized at Panchwa Kitchen in Sangeet Nagar, Bhainsepati.

Composers Laxman Shesh, Satyaraj Acharya, Swaroopraj Acharya praised the singer Adhikari's words and voice in the program and said that no one can achieve the perfection of mother's words. They wished the singer Adhikari and asked him to continue in the field of song and music in the future. Musician Hari Lamsal organized and conducted the program.

The song 'Meri Aama' has lyrics and vocals by Khadananda Adhikari and music by Kishore Siwakoti. The music composition of the song is by Phanindra Rai and the mixing is done by Kishore Thapa. Directed by Nikesh Khadka, the music video features singers Khadanand Adhikari, Mithila Sharma and Basudha Ghimire. The video is shot by Uttam Humagain and edited by Bikas Dhamala. The video of the song has been released through Suseli Online TV YouTube channel.
