Kathmandu: Bollywood actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has hit back at yoga guru Baba Ramdev following his remarks about her controversial statement referring to some young protesters as “Generation Gutter.”
Kangana clarified that her comment was not directed at all young people but only at certain individuals who had called themselves “cockroaches.”
Responding to Ramdev’s remarks about her past and youth, Kangana shared a screenshot of a news report on Instagram and issued a sharp response.
“Baba ji, don’t daydream about my youth or bedroom. You can only assume based on rumours and gossip. At least the Supreme Court has never reprimanded me for making false or misleading claims about medical efficacy,” she wrote.
She further said, “Don’t give me character lessons. My character is much better than yours. There has been no fraud detected here.”
Her remarks appeared to refer to the 2024 misleading advertisements case involving Patanjali Ayurved, in which Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna apologized to the Supreme Court and assured the court that they would not make misleading medical claims in the future.
