Himanchal becomes the new Mr. Nepal

Kathmandu. Himaanchalraj K.C. from Lalitpur has won the title of 'Mr. Nepal World'. He secured this title at the grand finale of 'Mr. Nepal 2025' held at the Solti Hotel late Saturday evening. K.C. expressed that he felt very happy to be recognized as 'Mr. Nepal'. He stated that this title adds a responsibility to promote Nepal’s name internationally.

In the competition where three top winners were selected, Girishratna Shakya from Bhadrapur, Jhapa was declared 'Mr. Global Nepal' and Prakash Chauhan from Morang was declared 'Man of the World'. The winners Shakya and Chauhan stated that the titles have opened new doors of opportunity for them. They expressed their intention to make good use of this opportunity on an international platform.The winners received a prize worth 500,000 in addition to representing Nepal in 'Mr. World 2025', 'Mr. Global 2025', and 'Man of the World'. In the grand runway competition held with fashionable enthusiasm, 28 youth competed for the titles.

In the competition, Mr. Multimedia is Prakash Chauhan, Mr. Active is Vijay Syangtan, Best Physique is Lakshman Chand Thakuri, Mr. Popular is Austin Sherchan, Best Personality is Himanchalraj KC, Mr. Commercial is Ashish Giri, Mr. Intellectual is Sakri Ghising Tamang, Mr. Style Icon is Nishchil Manandhar, Best Sportsman is Darpan Singh Giri, Mr. Creative is Sabal Katuwal, Gentleman with Purpose is Girisharatna Shakya.

All competitors participated in the finals with training in more than a dozen subjects including swimming, football, social service, short hiking, catwalk, personality development, and public speaking, said Ravi Dhamala, CEO of the organizing company Next Models Nepal. The choreographer and mentor of the competition was Prashant Tamrakar.

The competition, which has been regularly held since 2001 with the aim of developing the personality of youth, enhancing self-confidence, and showcasing abilities, has become the largest and most prestigious competition in Nepal for male participants, as informed by Yatna Pandey, the Managing Director of the organizer Next Models Nepal.
