Everest climber singer Raju Lama honored

Bhaktapur: Singer Raju Lama, who returned after successfully climbing the world's highest peak, Mount Everest, has been honored in Bhaktapur.

Director of Madhyapur Boys Band Sunil Bajracharya honored the singer Lama at a function organized at Gattaghar in Bhaktapur today. Singer Lama of the popular musical group Mongolian Heart set a world record by successfully ascending Mt. Everest and performing a solo concert at an altitude of 7,900 meters.

On the occasion, Bajracharya honored newly elected chief of Madhyapurthimi Municipality Surendra Shrestha, Deputy Chief Vijay Krishna Shrestha, Ward Chairman Krishna Hari Acharya and other ward members.
