Popstar will start the tour in Mexico on August 24, 2023. Initially, dates are set for South American countries such as Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina. After that, his first tour to Asia will start in Tokyo on July 2, 2024. There are four shows in Japan, five in Australia, and three in Singapore.
After that, there are plans to hold concerts in Europe and the UK. There are only nine shows planned in the United Kingdom. The demand for tickets for his concert was so high that when the online platform Ticket Master crashed, thousands of fans could not get tickets. After that, even in the US Parliament, MPs raised their voices about concert ticket management.
After this failure, Ticketmaster was asked to answer questions about the handling of the incident in front of US senators. Swift herself said that she was saddened to see the struggle of fans to get tickets, and she assured that Ticketmaster could deal with this problem.
The Eras tour is singer Swift's first world tour since 2018. She is about to embark on a tour after releasing four new Grammy-winning studio albums. The music publication Billboard estimated that the 52-week tour would gross $591 million.
