A ghazal record written by the great poet Devkota a hundred years ago in the voice and music of composer Shrestha

Kathmandu. A ghazal written by the great poet Laxmi Prasad Devkota a hundred years ago has been recorded. The ghazal has the music and voice of world-record composer Santosh Shrestha. Ghazal prepared in audio and visual form in Kathmandu by Prof. Dr. Krishnahari Baral, son of Mahakavi Devkota Prof. Padmaprasad Devkota, daughter Ambikadevi Rimal, and singer and musician Shrestha, inaugurated the event.

During the event, he said that Padmaprasad, the son of the great poet Devkota, was happy that his father's creation, written in a play called "Sabitri Satya Ban," written about a hundred years ago, was set to music and vocalized.

Musician and singer Shrestha said that it was a privilege to give voice and music to the compositions of the great poet. He says that he made the audio-visual content of this ghazal with the idea that something should be done through music. The video of the ghazal is directed by Hem Prabhash Adhikari and shot and edited by Birendra Bhat 'Bipin'.
